Changes to Schwab’s MoneyLink® Notification Process

Staring in mid-March, Schwab will begin sending you notifications about all incoming and outgoing MoneyLink transactions for your Schwab accounts. This will be similar to the notifications that you already currently receive about checks, journals and wires associated with your Schwab accounts. Most likely you will receive these notices via email (if you have an email on file with Schwab), otherwise you will receive them via standard mail. If you have any questions about this change, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How You Will Receive Your 1099

As you begin collecting your tax documents to prepare your 2017 returns, we’d like to offer a few notes about tax information for your Yeske Buie accounts.

  • Schwab has posted all 1099 forms to the Statements and Reports tab of your Schwab Alliance account. Step-by-step instructions for accessing the online forms can be found here. If you have any trouble at all accessing your forms, please don’t hesitate to give us a call so we can help.
  • There will likely be corrections to these original 1099 forms, and the corrected forms are expected to be posted to your Schwab Alliance account beginning on February 27th. Schwab will email you if/when those forms are available. We suggest that you meet with your tax preparer as scheduled; do not delay your meeting as you wait to see if there will be corrected forms.
