In Case You Missed It: Short Take – Emerging Market Blues

An article from The New York Times published earlier this month detailed some “bad news” related to emerging markets (EM) and spawned quite a bit of chatter among investors. Emerging markets have been in the news lately, in part because stock markets in those countries have been falling in recent months (for reasons we’ll discuss further), but also because of crises and disruptions occurring in a handful of specific countries. Yeske Buie in the Media: “Investing in 529s? Here is the Lesson Plan”

A few weeks ago, the Yeske Buie team hosted a live webinar panel discussion where we shared our thoughts on education planning initiatives for children of all ages. Thank You for a Magical Event!

Last week, our team had the privilege of spending an evening with some of the wonderful people in our Yeske Buie community. We spent the evening together at the historic University Club of San Francisco and enjoyed insightful conversations, delightful appetizers and desserts, and the sharing of the team’s recent ah-ha moment that Yeske Buie is a love story. We look forward to sharing more about this story with all of our Yeske Buie community and in the meantime, we hope you enjoy this small gallery of photos from the event.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
