Current Update: Since the last update, Lauren has attended three wonderful Financial Planning Association (FPA) events/conferences. First: She, Dave, Elissa and Yusuf attended FPA Retreat in Atlanta where she and Yusuf presented on Yeske Buie’s hiring, onboarding and training process. Dave also presented on using risk tolerance in more arenas than investing; both presentations went very well! Second: Lauren attended FPA’s NorCal conference in San Francisco with the rest of Yeske Buie’s San Francisco Financial Planning Team. It was a phenomenal two-day conference full of knowledge gained. Third: Lauren attended the FPA National Capital Area Symposium with the rest of Yeske Buie’s Virginia Financial Planning Team. It was another great day full of interesting sessions and speakers. Learn Big!

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
