Camille Bouvet, CFP®

Financial Planning Resident

Bouvet_5834Camille Bouvet, CFP® joins Yeske Buie as a Financial Planning Resident after graduating from Virginia Tech in May 2015.  Camille graduated with a degree in Applied Economic Management as part of Virginia Tech’s CFP® Certification Education Track, a CFP® Board-Registered Program, and was a recipient of Virginia Tech’s Outstanding Senior Award in Financial Planning.  During her college career, Camille was an active member of Virginia Tech’s Financial Planning Association chapter, holding an officer position her senior year.  Camille has had a variety of internships within the financial planning profession; she worked as an advisor services intern at Charles Schwab in Phoenix, Arizona and also interned at Verity Asset Management during the spring 2014 semester in Blacksburg, Virginia.

As a native of Bethesda, Maryland, Camille traveled 2,800 miles to start her professional life in Yeske Buie’s San Francisco office.  Camille is eager to gain experience in comprehensive financial planning from and through the residency program while learning from the firm’s respected thought leaders.  She plans to become active in San Francisco’s FPA chapter and join its NexGen community.

In her spare time, Camille enjoys exploring new places, mostly by running through them.  She continues to train for various races as she has been a track and field competitor during high school and college.  As an avid lover of the outdoors, Camille is especially excited to live in California for the endless opportunities to explore the range of climates and landscapes.

Client Focus: As a Financial Planning Resident, Camille works with the rest of the Financial Planning Team to ensure that clients’ financial planning needs are met and to help them achieve their Live Big® goals.

Current Update: Camille has enjoyed the energy in the office this summer with the arrival of Dan and Ryan, our two new Residents, and has had the pleasure of supervising Hannah, our San Francisco summer intern. Camille is excited to venture to the Far West Roundup conference in August with the entire Financial Planning team, where she’ll get to engage in stimulating discussions and share in the educational experience with her colleagues. She’s also welcomed two new roommates in her Nob Hill apartment (IKEA trips to follow… hopefully just one!). Now that she’s completely stress-fracture-free, she’s got her eyes on the next track goal: to run under 5:00 in the mile during the Spring 2018 track season. For now, she’s looking forward to cross country season to build a strong base and remain injury-free… her foam roller is ready!

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that others won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” ~Marianne Williamson
